Rush, or recruitment is a six week period during October and November where students can meet and get to know the members of the different Greek organizations on campus at different events hosted by the individual Greek groups.

Each group hosts three rush events throughout this six week period. All students are invited and encouraged to attend any group's events to find out what Greek life is all about. Any student at Wooster is eligible to rush to become a member of a Greek organization. To be eligible for a bid to join a Greek group a student must attend the first or second rush event.

After the three rush events, group give out bids, or offers to join their group. Students have approximately three or four weeks to accept their bids to join a group. New Member Education takes place the second and third week of Spring semester.
